The previous version will be supported for 12 months following the release of the current version, after which you will be asked to upgrade to a more recent version.

License Activation 3CX Phone System – Important Notification

The licensing mechanism for 3CX Phone System has changed, due to software piracy issues.  As a result of this, you will need to download an update for 3CX Phone System in order to be able to activate your license. This change has already been incorporated into the latest service pack 6 of 3CX Phone System v10. If you have that installed you do NOT need to do ANYTHING.
