Thanks for the feedback. It is possible to forward to a remote SIP ID at extension level. Not sure if Exchange 2010 is completely SIP compliant, but if it is that should work. Worth a try...

I've had a test setup with Exchange 2010 in combination with 3CX PBX v8 before. Most of it worked fine. Every now and then 3CX couldn't connect to Exchange2010 though.

The vocal access to the Exchange mailbox is awesome functionality. I am hoping it will be able in 3CX v9 to allow an extension to be forwarded to Exchange 2010 UM while still using the 3CX voicemail capabilities. As far as I could find out this isn't possible with 3CX v8: it's either use all of Exchange 2010 OR all of 3CX, but not a combination of it as I describe. Is this true? If so, will this be changed in 3CX v9?

Hi Matt! Thanks for visiting! Yes Exchange integration works well - in v9 we will also support the MWI of Exchange 2010, as well as be able to reformat the caller ID to e164 so that call backs to ppl who leave voice mail are easier.

You would have to ask Microsoft for pricing. We can integrate with Exchange 2010, but you would have to check with other PBX vendors directly whether they do or not

Great timing. I will be looking to use 3CX with Microsoft's Online services later this year. First mention of 3CX v9, should be interesting to see what you folks have up your sleeves.
