  3. This does make good sense.

It was surely only ever a business reason that they weren’t supported. We’ve continued to use Snom throughout and they integrate very nicely with 3CX. Provisioning and so on gives a great degree of management.

  4. We use the 3xx series for years now, never had any problems with those. I love the phone because they support hotdesking by default which is verry usefull within our company as people may switch between servicedesk and project related desks at any time they want letting their extesion “roam” with them.

We used to use Snom phones to, but are we the only company that is experiencing lot’s of hardware issues with Snom lately (DOA – Corrupt firmware – …) or is our distri sending out refurbished as new? Really would like to know if this is common issue.

    • @Nico – I do not know – Cannot say exactly what is happening. Does this happen on all snom phones?
I suggest you contact snom directly to see what the problem is. What are the phones?
I can tell you the following: From Firmware 7 upwards, we rarely saw this problem occurring. Firmware updates are very smooth.
IN the very early days we used to have problems yes – and I remember I had to use emergency firmwares quite often. But that was a very long time ago – before snom firmware 7. Now for sure the problem is not there any more and we do not have complaints on this area.
      I suggest you contact snom.
