Nothing was changed in the voicemail / IVR. That is purely a Fax update. Can you double check this? What happens when you transfer a call to Voicemail from the IVR? Can you dial *4(EXTNUM)? Can you dial the voicemail extension from IVR?

Updated and implemented per instructions in "how to" on several v.8 servers, and lost ability to hit voice mail from within auto attendant, but the fax in works really well. Is there another rev coming?

In version 10116, system updates is not included. You have to install the latest version, 10824. This is the version has the system updates feature included.
I suggest you install this version to benefit from future updates without uninstalling the 3CX Phone System.

You have to install the update on the 3CX Phone System server itself using the Windows Management Console option. This is for security reasons....

Using the windows form application, I do not have an option for “3CX Phone System Updates.” I can select "3CX Phone System" then "Settings" then "Phone System Updated" but everything shows up to date.

It shows installed version is 8.0.10116.583. I don't see any mention of service packs. We are having some issues with the fax service right now, I would like to install the update if there is one.

Thanks for the feedback. Be sure to check whether Cbeyond actually supports T38 fax.... That may not be the case. I did a quick check on the Cbeyond website and it appears they have a fax to email service instead...

Thank you for this update! CBeyond is our VoIP provider, but receiving faxes via the 3CX PBX has not worked thus far. Are you planning to do ongoing testing of VoIP providers with the 3CX Fax Server? If so, where will you be publishing the results?

It is grayed out because you are accessing it from the web.
You need to use WINFORMS Windows management console. The 3CX Interface that is not web but windows forms based. Start menu / all programs shortcuts.

We are on the 3CXMININFR, I went to demo the inbound fax only to find that the fax server stops shortly after it is started. I went to download the update, but it is greyed out.

Is this feature operational in the NFR?

@Jonathan Hamon
Do you use and pre-given version of the 3CX Phonesystem?
It can may be that your version already include this update then.
Is your PBX Version higher then v8.10824?
If not please open a support ticket on us.
Thx

@Igor Snezhko
this update it self only fixes issues with receiving faxes.
The Fax Send Module is discontinued. It calls the same Server to send and has improved as well but we do not give any support on this module.

Nick, what you means saying "Fax for Receive only"

I successfully send faxes in this configuration

Win XP Fax Client > Win Server 2003 Fax Server > 3CX Fax Module > Grandstream GXW 4104

No any problem!
