Hi Guy,

You can use the 3CXphone for Windows free of charge, it supports video. Its SIP standard based so it should work fine with Elastix. As the phone is free though we do not provide tech support for it though unless you have 3CX Phone System.

Does your company sell a softphone that supports video? We already have an Elastix system in place that supports 600 Nokia N800 devices out in the field and I need a video capable softphone, other than Xlite.

@Alex - many customers use Outlook 2007 with 3CX Assistant without any issues at all so i believe its an issue specific to your install. I suggest you take this up with support and have it escalated to Kevin Attard Compagno and i will discuss your ticket with him.

Still having issues with the 3CX Call Assistant and Outlook calling.
Making calls from Outlook 2007 gives us a "Call Transfer Failed" message. For some reason the TAPI driver is adding a "%20" before the number being dialed.

Support has been saying it's a known issue for months, but where's the fix??? This needs to be fixed!

I have been impressed with the foresight Nick and his team has shown. Supporting the Android first is a good move. Apple will be pushed out of the market like Novell was if they stay completely closed off and arrogant.

@fabio - no outlook 2010 is not included in v9. Still something we are working on, will be another month or so.
@Kiwivoip - thanks for the heads up!
@Ramon - If you are a 3CX Partner your NFR key will always work with the latest version. No need for a new key. If it does not activate please contact your Regional Sales Manager as it does require that you have made a purchase with us within a reasonable amount of time...
@nforngang - you can already dial in to the voice mail menu and then dial an external number. Do you mean that?

Hi! Nick, and congratulations for new Version 9 !!!

I have Version 8 running with the Reseller Key. If I upgrade to Version 9, will be running with all the features like now or do I have to get a new Reseller Key for Version 9 to get the complete features ?

Thanks

Does this version support callback to GSM/CDMA mobile who are not able to have live internet connectivity?
