3CX System/VoIP Trunks/Extensions Monitor Application/Webpag

Postby executive » Wed Apr 15, 2009 1:41 am

Check my previous feature request for details.

Whether a stand-alone application like 3CX assistant or embedded webpage my 3CX customers want a way to see the status of their 3CX system, VoIP trunks, Extensions at a glance WITHOUT HAVING TO LOG INTO THE MANAGEMENT WEBPAGE where anyone can mess up the 3CX configuration. Plus the management webpage has this information but its in several different areas.

A clean, updated monitor with real-time indicators (green, red, yellow lights) showing all 3CX resources, both server resources and component resources like IP phones and VoIP providers. By having this monitor available without having to login to 3CX would be nice because you can leave the montior up in the office and not be afraid of someone changing the 3CX configuration.

I would very much like to see Trunk monitoring - don't care where (in Assistant or seperate app). I think this would be a very powerful feature to talk to some clients about. Lots of people like to see how many lines/trunks they are using.

There is a performance monitor counter for this if you are on windows server.
I haven't used it and i've heard some people having difficulting getting it to work with 2008.
