3CX VoIP Phone and Cisco Call Manager

Postby DShadow » Tue Apr 13, 2010 4:57 pm

Hi there!

I was wondering if it is possible to integrate 3CX VoIP Phone with Cisco Call Manager (System version: 6.1.2.1000-13).

Thanks,
Mihai

Yes, this should be possible.

Thanks for the quick answers. I have searched the net for some tutorials or some documentation but I did not find any. Can you please put a link here or describe how can it be done?

Thank you,
Mihai

As I am currently using 3CX in our lab for testing some things including integration with a call manager infrastructure I can say the server to server communication is a bit cumbersome.

However after some digging I can use the 3cx softphone client as a sip client to call manager with no apparent draw backs.

Mind you however I use 3cx only in the lab currently.

Key is authentication :)

If you will follow the idea:

then server to server will be the "piece of cake" :)
