An Error Occured in IVR Session - v9 / VAD v2.0

Postby mce » Mon Jul 12, 2010 10:24 pm

Hi,

"An Error Occured in IVR Session"

when trying to call a Callflow that has been created with a VAD 2.0 from a remote machine (the VAD is not running on the 3CX server), I get the above mentioned spoken error message - and could not find a solution in this forum.

This is the part from the 3CXIvrServer.log:

22:54:43.606|2648|(0):Error! Module '3CX.com.OSBinet'. Error ID 219. URLhttp://192.168.1.212:5481/ivr/(S(1dh ... 55ms4bv4ay))/TEST001_10/Main.vxml?dr=600&to=600&from=500MethodGETError-500

22:54:43.606|2648|(0):Error! Module '3CX.com.vxi'. Error ID 203. uriTEST001_10/Main.vxml?dr=600&to=600&from=500
22:54:43.606|2648|.\api\VXIpromptImpl.cpp(212):IvrDll, VXIpromptImpl::Impl::Queue(), Error! A serious error within IVR session

The 3CX is v9 and running on a Server 2003 machine with the Abyss webserver. Are there any solutions to this?

Thank you

Hi,

When deploying to Abyss Web Server, you need to specify the right port in the deployment URI, which is configured for IIS by default.

To do this, open your VAD project, and select the project in the "Project Explorer Window". Then go to the "Properties Window", and check the following properties:
PbxDeploymentUri=http://PBX_SERVER:5481/ivr/VAD_Deploy.aspx
PbxDownloadDebugFilesUri=http://PBX_SERVER:5481/ivr/VAD_DownloadDebugInfoFile.aspx
PbxGetDebugFileNamesUri=http://PBX_SERVER:5481/ivr/VAD_GetDebugInfoFileNames.aspx

Please, verify those values and deploy the project again after adjusting them.

Let me know if this works.

Thanks,

Thanks for letting me know.

We're working on a change for that configuration. You will only need to set up the web server you're using (Abyss, IIS or Cassini), and then everything else will be automatically set up. We hope to release a new version with this an another fixes in a few weeks.

I'm new and the proposed solution did not work at my place.
I still have to use PbxConfigurationPort 5485?
I tried it in version 8 and 9 with VAD2 same result

Is this mentioned update already available

The configuration port is 5485 by default, you don't need to change that.

But depending on the WebServer used (IIS, Cassini or Abyss), you may need to change the deployment uri parameters. For example, to make it work with Abyss you need to enter something like this:

PbxDeploymentUri=http://PBX_SERVER:5481/ivr/VAD_Deploy.aspx
PbxDownloadDebugFilesUri=http://PBX_SERVER:5481/ivr/VAD_DownloadDebugInfoFile.aspx
PbxGetDebugFileNamesUri=http://PBX_SERVER:5481/ivr/VAD_GetDebugInfoFileNames.aspx

If you're using another web server, those uris are different. Take a look at the user's manual for details, or let me know what web server are you using and I'll give your the right uris.

Also, if you're deploying the project remotely, you need to allow remote access to the configuration. How to do this is also explained in the user's manual.
