My boss just pointed out to me that the CallerID info for the caller is not in the email sent to him when he receives a voicemail. This seems like a good idea to me so I'm suggesting it here.

there should be also an option for each extension to send emails for missed calls that are not answered or redirected to voicemail. and the caller id should be clickable from e-mail-programm using the http-api or tapi.

It seems Caller ID is still not on the email. Is there any workaround for this? If I leave the voicemails in the box then I can of course use the voicemail by phone and get the caller ID, but if I choose to remove the voicemails once they're forwarded, the CallerID data gets lost permanently.

If you use the latest V8 version the voicemail email looks like this:
