Cannot dial to fax server from internal

Hi,

Due tyo having to port all our numbers within an ISDN line we are going to get FAX calls hitting our Reception. We need to be able to frorward these quickly to the fax server, but I cannot dial the fax server (888 on this system), the call is dropped after a second or two.

How can we achieve this please?

What does the 3CX log show for the call?

I'm not positive that this is going to work. I haven't really had to get into into fax over 3CX as i just have a fax machine connected directly to a PSTN line.

What you might try, after hours, is sending an incoming fax call directly to the fax server, no transfer involved, see if that works. You may have to do something like this using a separate fax number.

We'll see if someone else, with more experience on the subject, has any suggestions.

Setting an inbound rule to send a fax to the email of a user is working.
