dates in logs

Postby oliverm » Thu Jan 26, 2012 10:50 am

Hi

Is there anyway to find the date in the 3cxphonesystem.log file? It's quite big and seems to only record the times against each entry and not the date.

If not, is there some way we can get the date put in? Some setting somewhere. Seems like an odd oversight.

Hi,

Activate in Settings, Advanced pannel, "keep backup of log file". You will find in "C:\ProgramData\3CX\Data\Logs\Backup" folders named by date. In those folders you will find "3cxphonesystem.log" for every day.
Be aware that this action can consume a lot of disk space. You should delete them from time to time.
