Hello,
a call from pstn line with caller id 123456789 to ext 101
ext forward it to external voip provider to call a number on the same voip provider
now 3CX system can forward the call with any number as a caller id to the other party
ex : outgoing caller id,external number,authid etc...
so why system can not send the original caller id (123456789)

I've noticed that as of v8 forwarding from PSTN over PSTN to my Cell shows the portID (10000) of my PSTN device (Patton 4960) as Caller ID. So this is a variable for any type of forwarding!

Passing CallerID to external phones is of top priority for me.

Same problem, on forwarding to external numbers the Patton ID ist shown. It would be nice to see the calling number.
