Lost VoiceMails

Postby Mullenlaw » Sat Jan 14, 2012 2:07 am

We have the experience recently where people claim they have left a voicemail but it appears that during their message they've pressed a button on their phone or were somehow differently disconnected (is this a politcally correct term)?

Does anyone know in what instances this will happen? Is there a way to record the message and only abandon it if the caller press a certain sequence?

I am not 100% sure what you are asking but if the person leaving the voice mail hits a key while leaving the voice mail the message should still be recorded even if they hang up.

Could you describe the situation a little more.

Here is a link to 3CX and voice mail for your reference: http://www.3cx.com/blog/um9en/voice-mail/
