Newbie new install of 3CX Voip Phone - require help

Postby mr2qiknz » Tue May 31, 2011 9:19 am

Was previously using x-lite 4 and didn't like it.

Downloaded and installed todays version of 3CX VoIP Phone.

Download and initial install went well. Chose to manually configure the profile for our VoIP provider, whom is Slingshot of NZ, via italk.co.nz

Using the configuration info from the x-lite-4 install, I set up the Extension,ID,Password account name and chose the option I am out of the office, for the server we had been using with x-lite-4.

The software fails to connect to the server. I have noticed a number of settings crucial to the account that don't appear as options in 3CX that I had completed for x-lite-4.

Can someone help me resolve this please?

The debug window shows the following errors when negotiating connection to the italk server.

"Sending STUN request"
"Not connected. Authentication failed"

It's not getting through, or it just doesn't register?
