It would be great if there were a feature allowing the admin to set up an outgoing caller ID rule for all of the extensions. For example, setting up a rule such as:

Company Name - %First Name% %Last Name%

which would take the first and last names from the extension list. For the user Jack Nimble at ABC Inc, the outbound caller ID would then be:

ABC Inc - Jack Nimble

whereas for Sue Chen at the same company, it would be:

ABC Inc - Sue Chen

This rule would be created under Ports/Trunks Status as the Outbound Caller ID in 'Other Options' for the port/trunk.

Very few providers allow you to override outbound caller ID name.
