A GOOD solution is that anywhere that you can add a prompt, there is an option to Record. If you select record, the system asks you what extension to record from, then calls you at that extension and walks you through the recording process. Every time I have explained to people about sending yourself a voicemail to get the recorded prompt, the reaction has been "Your kidding right?". This isn't one of those feature change requests that will sell more systems or is preventing sales, but it is certainly one that goes a long way to making the system feel more professional.

This is a great idea. Another ip pbx software (trixbox) works like this, but should be the user who make a call to a system extension to record the prompt.
