See status of trunks from within 3cx assistant

Hi Guys

It would be lovely to be able to see the status of the outgoing ports from within 3cx Assistant. I get constantly (10 - 20 times a day) asked if its possible that their phone could show how many outgoing lines are available for use (as the old system did it !!).

I know you can see them in the myphone portal but thats only if your extention is a member of the management group.

It is possible, but I'm not sure that it can be useful.
Could you please explain "use case" where it will be really required?

Hi

Ok

We are a secondary school with 90 extentions on 3CX. We use a ISDN gateway (4 channel), We sometimes have all lines in use (mornings and breaks where people are calling in sick or where teachers are busy phoning parents). It would be good if our staff as users of 3cx Assistant could see that all our outside lines are busy and thus not have to attempt a make an external call and recieve a 480 busy message. Aparently the old system had BLF on all the outside lines and could tell if they were engaged.
