This morning i noticed that i was not getting calls. I went to log onto the interface via HTTP
and could not get there.. So i REMOTED into the server and after about 30 seconds from doing that the phones worked again
is there something that keeps shutting the server down when i log out from the remote desktop connection?
is there a setting to keep the server alive even after i log off?

you will want to look at power saving options or something like that. windows updates have a nasty habbit of turning power saving features back on even after you turn them off.
