Simplified 3CX assistant with no brand

Hello,

I'd like to be able to deploy the call assistant to my customers without mentionning it's a 3CX appliance (because most of the users don't have to know it) and already configured by the server or needing a password to avoid them to try to change options by themselves.

I think it would be very easy to do and very usefull for resellers.

Honestly i think that's not a reason to ask a company to "Un-Brand" one of their products...
To even ask to Un-Brand a product is simply not a question that should be asked at all.

How is it usefull for a reseller? So that they can brand it themselves and pass it off as theirs?
I don't understand the logic behind your point.


And about the automatic configuring of the Assistants, that's a feature coming in Version 9.

Fonality's trixbox Pro offers complete branding/skinning ability for resellers. While this seemed like it would be a good thing for resellers to be able to slap their own company information on it, the only companies that really can pull this off are huge companies like Dell. If I am selling a commercial phone system, I want a customer to be assured that there is a big company behind it to support it if something happens to me versus trying to sell them on "KerryPBX".

Thank you. Actually, i didn't find it so rude to ask to be able to personalize the assistant component...
Actually, we don't only sell the 3CX to our clients but a complete pack with the internet connection, land line, IP PBX, PC to run the IP PBX, IP Phones, VoIP providers, etc. So we make our best to introduce it as a whole package and the less we can see different brands, the more it's clear in the customer mind.

At least if we could put our logo and avoid some text or menu to appear, we would be able to keep the customer in the same environnement.

I think that the main part of 3CX business is BtoB and not BtoC, so i don't find it so stupid to offer special features to resellers.

Didn't want to hurt the 3CX staff... that's because i find it's the best IPBX that i do my best to base my business on it and try to offer the best pack as possible.

Maybe not for end users, but for Admins, is there a way to edit the Mainform.wgx file not to remove the 3cx logo, but to put the site ID or site name? if one is supporting multiple site installations, it would be nice to see it on the main screen instead of havign to resolve yoru ip address by memory!!

This is a common request in the market in which you operate (BtoB) so I am surprised at the response.

White Labelling a solution would be very attractive to some resellers out there.

I think both sides have fair arguments, it just boils down to the Manufacturers choice.

3CX really pushes their partnership program, and delivers leads to partners all over the country. In those cases, it doesnt make sense to have a white label solution (Why cook the meal when another chef gets the credit)
