It would be great if you'll add "Add Skype gateway".

And call from SIP like sip:skypename@domain.name.

Axon also has a sip to skype product. I have respect for their products, but haven't used skype one.
I have looked at there sip IVR product and it is WELL done and works with 3cx. (this is not a replacement for 3cx, just an advanced ivr)

I have tested the SIP to Skype from Axon about one year ago.
On my Windows 2003 SP2 R2 French Edition, it was freezing and stop working about 7 time on 10.

But when working, it is nice. Limited to 1 Skype account to 1 SIP account. Not really easy to setup as the notice is originaly done for their own Axon PBX.

Advantage: For users who have bought Skype Out credits, it is really fun to be reached from other Skype users.

So I have stopped using it. as they (axon) do not update this software.

This company infringes our copyrights - it has blatantly copied our interface and more, and i would not recommend buying their products. Our products will NOT interoperate with yeastar short to medium term and we do NOT recommend buying yeastars product for use in combination with 3CX. We can not guarantuee that it will work with future versions of 3CX.

Chanskype or NCH, no problem at all. In fact i am interested to hear experiences in regards to NCH.

I have some doubt regarding interoperability.

The first, you cannot make NOT compatible the 3CX and the concurrent products because you both support SIP protocol. SIP is a key interoperability factor here. If you dont support each other - you do not support SIP.
The second - them have very cool product - Skype to SIP gateway. It will be smart to run some kind of cross-licensing procedure and integrate Skype gateway to 3CX.
And the third - as I know, there are no software patents in EU. Therefore you cannot "patent" an interface or another part of the software.

The issue is not patents, thats an entirely different thing. We are talking about copyright. Software and books etc is all copyrighted by law. Otherwise you could just copy cds, books, website content and get away with it. Doesn't work like that.

You can not just copy some ones interface, manuals etc and expect to get it away with it. Its punishable at law in the US, Europe, lots of countries around the world.

We have no interest to do business with a company like that.

My opinion is that Skype uses powerfull echo cancellation algorithms built-in in the software. I can use cheapest headset and receive good sound quality. But it seems that your softphone has not such algorithm. So I must use expensive DSP headsets.
