You not serious are you?
If that is the case, there are work arrounds. Eg record a radio/streaming ahead and point 3CX to your cache file. (that should work).
Yes I'm serious. At this moment, when customers are placed in hold, they listen to an external audio-source wich is connected to the audio/aux-in. When I tried to use 3CX as an alternative, I noticed I can select just one audio file which is played from the beginning each time they call and their call is being diverted or are placed in hold. NO (professional) option and very irritating for customers who call your company a lot.
Ofcourse, maybe there's a workaround but it's a pitty that 3CX doesn't come with a standard option to connect aux/audio-in from your soundcard or something other alternative than just selecting one file... Creating a product that needs workarounds for something that should be a standard option and is important for almost every company is no option to me. No offense to 3CX or whatever, it's just my honest and personal opinion. Beside this, I think 3CX is a great product wich will become one of the most popular and loved PBX-software solutions ever!
