web service = "Data at the root level is invalid"

Postby SWSDEV » Thu Oct 01, 2009 2:25 am

When I call my webservice, I get this message back when debugging...

"Data at the root level is invalid"

IS the VAD expecting an XML response? This web service gives me back a very simple one word string. Am I not going to be able to use this service?

OK, so I realized that in this scenario I need to use the regular web interaction component and not the web service one. I can grab the content from there and I have what I need.

Exactly, you can use a web interface for that.
