Re: Working VOIP providers
Australian VOIP Tested Providers:
- Engin.com.au (wiki has config guide)
- Mytel.net.au (wiki has config guide)
- Nehos.net (wiki has config guide)
- MyNetFone (No guide yet but is tested to work).
3CX Australia can arrange trial VOIP accounts with free call credit for 3CX partners, email au.info@3cx.com for more information
In New Zealand we have also tested 2talk.co.nz work very well.

Re: Working VOIP providers
We have tested and used the following however there are some strange issues with some as noted
The test 3cx system was on an open public ip . we made changes to the Network setting in the INI to make all public IPs "local" and all STUN was disabled. We also were not using port 5060 as the SIP port.
Tested with various UAs behind distant NATs, including SNOM, Cisco, Sipura, Leadtek
http://www.Les.net (some inbound calls seem to drop, however this may depend on the DID We also had to disable reinvites)
http://www.Terravon.com (some issues noted with inbound calls dropping)
http://www.Messagenet.it (not heavily tested. Inbound seems to work)
http://www.v2.com.mx (tested inbound only and works, not yet heavily tested)
http://www.rapidvox.com This was thew only IP authorization that we tested and we could not get an outbound call to work from 3cx, however other programs from the same IP have no issues sending calls to this provider. 3CX requires information not typical of a Trunk for an IP authorization ; username for one, and this is most probably the issue
http://www.Alestra.com.mx . (Even after making the host entry in windoze , 3cx seems to ignore the entry in the hosts file and tries to register to the invalid DNS entry fow asbw.alestravoip.com - complete failure 3cx needs to recognize the hosts file or allow some accommodation of this as there are other providers that are like this)
http://www.supernettel.com (Complete success in and out . IN fact , we directed some of the problematic DIDs through this service and they are now working)
On an additional note we also tested localhost or loopback 127.0.0.1 and noted some issues there, regardless what the UA was on the other end. They seem to work if we register, however not as an unregistered trunk (IP Auth), and we had to kind of fudge hostnames, giving two hostnames to the same ip one that was not used on 3cx to allow us to loopback calls to the same IP (different port). As I recall, 3cx would not allow 127.0.0.1 as a host for a trunk, but inbound calls to 3cx showed 127.0.0.1 as the source requiring some customization of the header options.

Re: Working VOIP providers
We're using Faktortel in Australia (http://www.faktortel.com.au).
Chosen because they were one of the few who could provide ACMA (real portable phone numbers that you can take with you) did services along with SIP trunking at a competitive price. We're using a wholesale "Virtual PRI 20" along with 25 ACMA indials to provide real direct phone numbers to each of our Staff. See http://www.faktortel.com.au/wholesale-rates.shtml for details on the virtual pri (sip trunking).
Voice quality and latency is excellent.
The only thing that I had to tweak to get everything running was to add an entry to the "Source Identification" for the trunk. The entry that I'm using is;
Sip field: To: Host part
Value: Custom field
Custom value: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the local server ip address that is connecting from)
There were no contracts to worry about so it was a no-brainer to give them a go, particularly as our previous voip provider wasn't able to offer SIP trunks at any price.
I've attached screen shots of our generic sip trunk configuration in case it helps. I'll try to find the time soon to complete a test plan and template.

Re: Working VOIP providers
We use EWC, http://www.voip4business.biz. Not only did they install and configure the software and hardware for us but they also ported our current telephone numbers from BT. Really hassle free and great service

Re: Working VOIP providers
There is a certified voip provider (prionet) but this one is using the Breezz platform so a lot of providers (also our own service) are 'certified' mabey is a rename in place (breezz is an whitelabel provider)

Hey all
Adam Internet or (AdamTalk) is working 100% after a issue that got resolved around 27 hours ago.
any issues please let me know..
THE ONLY THING YOU NEED TO DO!
Under the advanced tab.. make sure that the option that changes what IP address you register with is set to INTERAL... (It's EXTERNAL by default)
thanks

Re: Working VOIP providers
XS4ALL is working pretty good for incomming and outgoing calls. Their International rate is also a must have for heavy use.
Note that XS4ALL is NOT working if a mobile phone number is included in a ringgroup. XS4ALL gives the status that the line is connected as soon as the mobile phone rings. This means that 3CX thinks the call is accepted on that line and the other phones in the RG will stop ringing.
CallVoip.nl offers good and inexpensive lines, no problem with this problem.

Re: Working VOIP providers
Polish VoIP provider Actio.pl works fine.
In configuration choose generic voip provider.

Re: Working VOIP providers
We've been using BroadVox for internal testing for a couple of weeks. It's going well except we can't get outbound CallerID working. Anyone else using BroadVox?
