3CX chooses Upstream Software as distribution partner in Scandinavia

London, UK – 5 September 2007 -3CX, developer of VOIP Phone System for Windows, today announced a strategic distribution agreement with Upstream, a Swedish-based software distributor. Upstream aims to promote and manage the distribution of 3CX Phone System for Windows, to establish 3CX as a leading player in the VoIP market in Scandinavia.

3CX Phone System for Windows is a software-based VOIP phone system that replaces a traditional proprietary hardware PBX / PABX. 3CX’s VOIP Phone System has been developed specifically for Microsoft Windows and is based on the open SIP standard. 3CX seamlessly integrates: existing PSTN lines using VOIP gateways, VOIP providers and SIP compliant handsets or softphones, providing a comprehensive SIP server without proprietary hardware or software restrictions. 3CX Phone System is far less expensive than a proprietary PBX and can reduce call costs substantially by using a VOIP service provider. Available versions
3CX is available in four versions: a Free edition, Small Business and Pro editions and an Enterprise edition which offers unlimited extensions and lines, as well as Exchange 2007 integration. 3CX is very aggressively priced and support contracts are available for purchase with the commercial versions.
