Factory Reset your Polycom SoundPoint phone

Applicable to Polycom SoundPoint 301, 320, 321, 330, 331, 450, 501, 550, 560, 600, 601, 650, 670

Follow the steps below to factory reset your Polycom SoundPoint device in order to bring back the factory default settings. This must be done before provisioning your Polycom SoundPoint phone in case the device has residual settings of a previous configuration.

Factory Reset your Polycom SoundPoint phone

  1. Turn off the device.

  1. As soon as the “Welcome” message appears, press and hold down
  • “1” “3” “5” “7” (on 320, 321, 330, 331, 450, 560)
  • “4” “6” “8” “*” (on 301, 501, 550, 600, 601, 650, 670)
  1. Release them only when the “Enter Password” message appear.

  1. For password use the phone’s MAC address (using CAPS for letter),
  2. After the restart your phone will be successfully reset (with default password “4, 5, 6”).
