Configuring Fring on Windows Mobile 6 with 3CX Phone System
Make sure that Your Public IP address is reachable from the outside or if you have a Domain name, it resolves correctly to your public IP address.
Download and Install Fring from http://www.fring.com on your Windows Mobile Phone.

To register with Fring, enter the User-ID, Nickname and Password you set up during the above process.

Choose the service you want – In this case SIP
From Fing’s Main screen press Menu and choose “Configure Services”. The following screen apprears. Choose SIP from the list.

The below screen will appear. Select “Other” in the list of SIP Services.

Enter your 3CX SIP Configuration Information
a) Create an Extension in 3CX for the Fring mobile user example Extension 104.
b) Bind this extension to Media Server.
c) Enter your SIP user ID, Password and Proxy address and select OK.
Example in this case the User ID is 104, the Password is 104 and the Proxy address can be either your Public IP address or your Domain address. Therefore you can enter:
i)Sip.3cx.com or
ii)Public IP address in Numeric Format.
Important: Make sure you have correct port forwarding on your router otherwise this will not work. Port 5060 should already be forwarded from the router to the 3CX PBX server machine.

Congratulations : You have registered your Fring mobile device with your 3CX PBX and should now be able to make and receive calls using your Windows Mobile Device and 3CX
