Supported Models: Aastra 6751i, 6753i, 6755i, 6757i, 6730i, 6731i, 6739i

Ideally you will have the Aastra 67i phones pick up the HTTP server information using a DHCP Server with configurable Option 66. If this is not possible, you can enter the information manually in the web UI of the phone using the procedure outlined below:

Note: This guide was tested with the Aastra firmware listed in the main provisioning guide. Other firmware versions might not have this functionality and will not be tested.

Configuring the provisioning server via the Aastra 67i series web interface:

Step 1: Obtain the provisioning URL

  1. Open the extension where the phone was provisioned to and and take a copy of the provisioning URL:

Step 2: Enter the Information into the Web Interface of the device

  1. Open the web interface of your Aastra 67i device (user: admin pass: 22222) and navigate to “Advanced Settings” -> “Configuration Server.”
  2. Set “Download Protocol” to “HTTP.”
  3. In “HTTP Server” enter the IP address of 3CX Phone System.
  4. In “HTTP Path” enter the provisioning URL, e.g. provisioning/yldf9x1eid - where yldf9x1eid is a randomly generated folder per installation and must reflect the folder of your installation.
  5. In “HTTP Port” enter the web server port commonly 80 or 5000.
  6. Reboot the device.

Note: If the options are “read only,” then check that your DHCP server has not provisioned your phone already via DHCP Option 66.
