    Hi guys,
I downloaded your software today, I was using the SPA9000 till now, your software looks promising.
I’m using the free version since I want to try it before buying a key.
Anyhow, I set up the SPA400 and I can only receive incoming calls but not making calls, How can I setup it to dial numbers?
My 7940G phones says “Reoreder” everytime I dial.

Hi Natanel, thanks for downloading. Have you set up any outbound routes? If so have you included the extensions or group that can use the outbound routes? Have a look at this for more information:

I have downloaded the software for Windows 8. I have a PIN and number but it says ‘CTI-No Phone Connections” do I need to connect a phone to my laptop? How?

@Doris, Thanks for the question. You will need to switch the phone to SoftPhone mode if you do not have an IP Desk phone connected to the same extension. CTI mode allows you to control your IP desk phone with from the 3CXPhone software and is the default setting in 3CX Phone System when an extension is created. You may find instructions on how to change modes here:

@Louise, if you are referring to a function where a pre defined number is dialled when you pick up the handset then this is not a feature of 3CX. The phone may be able to do this but you would need to contact the phones manufacturer to find out how.

I have a Fanvil X3P phone I’m trying to get instructions for but do not see it on your list. Please advise?

    • From the Phone list use the Fanvil X3 as the P is not “visible” in the User-Agent of the phone.
