Change Meeting Moderators
A 3CX WebMeeting administrator/organizer can assign moderator rights to participants in order for them to take advantage of the following features:
- Sharing Docs
- Sharing Screen
- Remote Assistance (Accept requests to remote control participants’ computers)
- Enable/Disable cameras/microphones/chat functions for other participants
There are two ways that moderators can be assigned:
- When a meeting is created.
- During an ongoing meeting.
Enabling Moderators When Creating a Meeting
When creating a meeting and adding participants, you simply tick the moderator checkbox to make that participant a moderator. You can have multiple moderators within a 3CX WebMeeting.
Assigning Moderators to an Ongoing Meeting
To assign a moderator in an ongoing meeting, click on the “Shield” icon, next to the attendees name. The icon will turn blue , meaning they are now a moderator.
