Handling incoming calls using 3CX MyPhone

3CX MyPhone makes receiving calls easier by allowing you to control calls with a few mouse clicks.

MyPhone - Incoming call

When you receive a phone call, 3CX MyPhone automatically pops up on your screen and shows you the caller ID of the caller – and if the caller is configured in the 3CX Phone System phonebook – the caller name will be listed.  You can pick up your phone, or you can click on any of the buttons next to the call to:

  1. Reject the call
  2. Divert the call to your voice mail
  3. Transfer the call to another user

Transferring calls using 3CX MyPhone

Using 3CX MyPhone, you can transfer calls either immediately when you receive a call, or while on a call.

To transfer a call to another user before you answer the call, you would need to perform the following:

MyPhone - Transfer incoming call

  1. Go to 3CX MyPhone pop up that appears for the incoming call.
  2. Click the transfer button.
  3. Enter the contact or number into the ‘Transfer call’ textbox.
  4. Click ‘OK’ to transfer the call.

Alternatively, to transfer an active call:

MyPhone - Transfer call

  1. Go to the ‘Extensions’ tab from 3CX MyPhone and right click the active call you want to transfer.
  2. Select the ‘Transfer’ option.
  3. Enter the contact or number into the ‘Transfer call’ textbox.
  4. Click ‘OK’ to transfer the call.
