Hey Guys,

Normally I don't manage our 3CX system but the current tech is on leave. We had everything working fine at one of our satellite offices that has a Patton 4112 Analog Gateway installed. It recently lost one of the two lines and stopped allowing outbound calls. The second line was fixed and the FXO enable and is working but the unit will still not allow outbound calls.

3CX server reports 503 Service Unavailable when trying to route calls to the Patton. Debug info on the sip-gateway shows:

09:49:20 SIP_ER> [GW GW_SIP] NO PROVIDER FOUND
09:49:20 SIP_SI> [STACK] Process unhandled INVITE packet
09:49:20 SIP_ER> [STACK] INVITE REQUEST ON GENERIC SERVICE MANAGER
09:49:20 SIP_ER> [STACK] REQUEST OUT OF DIALOG (INVITE)

Any help of where to look would be appreciated.

Hi Adam,

Check the status of the line by logging into the Patton's web interface and going to:
/ Ports / FXO / Port fxo ?/?/status

You are looking for "Line State:" what does it say ?

Please confirm on this line you do not have anything enabled like "Feature-line" or "Redcare" based on where you are these might have different names (I am UK based) basically the line offers PBX type functionality and will conflict with 3CX.

The fragment looks like there is no service at all on the line however but if you want more clarification you will need to console into the device and run the commands for FXO from this guide:

https://www.patton.com/support/kb_art.asp?art=67&p=0

For FXO you are looking specifically for the commands:

enable
show running‐config
debug call‐router
debug call‐control
debug fxo
debug ccfxo
debug context sip‐gateway signaling detail 5
debug context sip‐gateway transport detail 5
debug context sip‐gateway error

The second line was fixed and the FXO enable and is working but the unit will still not allow outbound calls.

What was the issue with the line that failed? Perhaps the same thing has occurred again. Is the gateway, or the riser/phone wiring cabinet accessible to "just anyone". If it is located in a common area, things can become "disconnected".

Results of the log below. FXO Line state is Up on both ports.

Why do I see two different IPs (different networks) associated with 10001?

While a gateway does register with the PBX, it also requires that the correct IP be data-filled in the trunk settings as that is used to send calls to the gateway.

The 3CX server is 192.168.88.128. The remote Patton is on a separate IP Range of 10.3.91.129.

10001 seems to be the user account for them to authenticate to each other.
