I have a system that V15.5.5 and was out of maintenance contract past 90 days
1. I was told there was no more support for perpetual licenses, but here on the forum was told otherwise. Does that mean if a perpetual license goes past 90's there is still a way to get a maintenance plan for it? Even if there is an additional fee? ( I don't get that by the way. In the last post, it was mentioned this fee was unpopular. But it kinda sounds like we're being forced to update yearly one way or the other. If so then there really isn't such a thing as perpetual licensing.)
2. I clicked the link and converted the license, but the phone system still says there is no maintenance contract. In the email, it talked about backing up data and reinstalling. Do I have to install an annual version of 3CX? Shouldn't I be able to update in place?
