3CXPhoneSystemMC01 crash on fresh install

This week (18/06/2018) I have set up a fresh install on Azure using PBXExpress.
Applied all latest fixes Version is 15.5.13103.5

But at least once a day the management console is not available anymore and we receive following mail
3CX Service notification
Following service(s) were stopped recently:
3CXPhoneSystemMC01

Checked already other threats for solutions, but nothing seems to help except rebooting the VM

Any solutions ?
 
first can you check the syslog of the instance. This should tell you the reason why it was stopped when the system itself stopped the service (grace or ungracefully).

Do you use a small instance in Azure? Then the cause might be that you run out RAM...
 
Ok checked syslog and it runs out of ram... (running on Azure A0 Basic)
What is the minimum Azure VM Size ? We have only 4 extensions
 
I cannot find the Specs of A0 Basic.

My smallest instance is

B1s
Standard
General purpose
vCPU 1
RAM 1
 
A0 Basic : 1 Core, 0.75GB RAM, HDD
Scaled it now to A1 Basic : 1 Core, 1.75GB RAM
Let's hope this helps
 
you can run instances on this A0 host, but you need to create a SWAP file as linux is tuff on processes which allocate memory and the host has nowhere to place it temp.

A1 should be fine for even more extension now!
