Hello,

We are trying to record a voice file using 3CX Digital Assistant console but could not do so. Please advice the correct procedures. Note that we have already referred to the 3CX manual on Digital Assistant voice record.

These are the 2 ways we have tried to created the voice file:

Method 1 (unsuccessful):

We tried uploading the .WAV file (after using Audacity converter stated in the 3CX manual on file conversion to .WAV) but received an error message as shown here.

The file (welcome.wav) we tried to upload is attached for your checking.

Method 2 (unsuccessful):

At the Digital Assistant console, instead of Upload, we tried to use Record, and was prompted this window, and received this warning and was unable to proceed. Please advice how to use this Record feature:

Hello @Readyspace

Can you re-upload the images as they are not visible?

Method 1 - wav file is incorrect format Format: WAV Channel: Mono Bit rate: 8 kHz Sample: 16 bit

Info on converting the file - https://www.3cx.com/docs/converting-wav-file/

Method 2 - try changing the filename in case you already have a wav file with the same name.

Tested on my system, was able to record a wav file using this method

Images are now visible. The first error could be that the format is wrong so i would recommend running the converted as mentioned in the error. The second error is strange however. Does the same filename exist on the system? Try changing the name and make sure that no spaces are included in the name. What is the version of the PBX used?
You can see the exact build number on the Dashboard under the Information column.

Hello,

Please assist further as we already done those methods that you recommended before we submitted the support case.

Method 1: We used the procedures for Convert a WAV file (Manual) and created the file that we attached earlier in our support email. That file still shows an error upon Upload.
Method 2: All along, we used an unique filename that was not used before, and still get the error.

Do you have further detailed instruction than what is in the manual
in https://www.3cx.com/docs/converting-wav-file/ as we have followed the instructions there and tried those methods unsuccessfully.

Thank you.
