With 3CX 15.5 U5 you can now have call recordings saved in the ADPCM format to save on disk space. If the client wanted to go back to the original PCM format is it possible to unselect this option and go back to saving recordings in the PCM format?

Yes, you can untick to option.

One thing it will not do, convert the files already saved as ADPCM to PCM - only new files will be in PCM format

If needed, it would not be difficult to build a utility that converts the recordings back to the standard format. Our recording manager gets the same compression as the ADPCM format, but we use MP3 which can be played on just about any device.
