Hello @UnConundrum

I tried browsing to the file mentioned and i was able to retrieve it successfully. I also tried from 4G and i was also able to download the file. Can you try from a different machine and see if you can browse to the file?

2 different results, but no success
On my iPad the page opened, but did not complete, eventually timing out.
On my iMac I tried Safari, FF, Opera, and Chrome, all failed to retrieve anything.
Doing a wget resulted in only 80% of the file. The last line in the file is:

d-i preseed/late_command string in-target wget -O /tmp/post-install http://

try just downloading the file by itself (instead of using the piped download/install combined option) and then run a sudo bash command to install the downloaded 3CX file.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand. I'm installing from a usb stick. It doesn't pause to let me download anything. If you're suggesting I install Debian and download the preseed file, I've already tried a wget on the file that failed. Or are you suggesting a different install process once Debian is installed? If so, what is the url to the file to download?

Are you installing from the 3CX Debian ISO or are you installing debian and then installing 3CX?

Ok. Install Debian.

Once you've got it all set up the way you want, do the following:

sudo wget -O- http://downloads-global.3cx.com/downloads/3cxpbx/public.key | apt-key add -
(this will download the 3CX public key and add it to the apt keychain)

sudo echo "deb http://downloads-global.3cx.com/downloads/debian stretch main" | tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/3cxpbx.list
(this will add the 3CX repository to the apt-update list)

sudo apt-get update
(searches for any updates and new packages)

sudo apt-get install 3cxpbx
(installs the 3cxpbx)

sudo apt-get install net-tools
(installs older debian commands like ifconfig which has been replaced with ip address in newer versions of debian)

Thanks a bunch. That worked :)

Glad to see that issue has been resolved.
