Show caller id when using call diversion

Hello,

is it possible to show the caller number when using the call diversion feature on the snom phones (snom d765)
Currently if i setup call diversion on the snom phone the number of the 3cx extension is showing up at the target phone. I want it to show up the number from the person which called the extension initially.

If its not possible via the snom feature is it possible with the 3cx diversion feature in the extension?

Provider: SIP Trunk QSC
3CX Version: 15.5

Please note that diversion through the phone is not supported by 3CX so i cannot tell you if that will work or not. The diversion option under the extension settings would work if QSC supported 302 diversion but as far as i can see from the tests performed with QSC's trunks 320 is not supported.
You will need to use the extensions forwarding rules to send the call to an external number (or mobile) to have this working. You will also need to use the 3CX templates for QSC to have this working.

So if we want to use the diversion from the 3cx extension settings with the diversion header, where should we set it ? Is it enough to just turn on the option [ Use Call Deflection (302) ] or do we have to setup anything else ? Maybe we are lucky and it works for us :)

Regarding the diversion directly from the snom phones i have whole different problem at the moment, the diversion dont even works if its setup via the snom phones. The call logs option shows me somekind of a loop when trying to call the phone with diversion enabled the caller tried about 14 times reaching the extension but it was only one time
and the activity log shows me "Cause: 302 Moved Temporarily/INVITE from 10.10.10.21:50867".

To use the call Deflection you just need to enable it under the extensions settings and set the extension to the correct status. No further settings required.

As i mentioned this is not supported so i would recommend not to use call forwarding directly from the phone settings.

Weird, with my own 3cx this feature works like a charm, but i am using sipgate as a trunk provider.
