Hi mates,

- I am going to deploy an Full Licensed On-Premise 3CX system (Windows Server Based) for my company with 2 NICs on 3CX Server as below:
+ 1st NIC ("in-bound" direction) connected to Local system (Core Switch => Core Router with VLAN Routing) for 3CX Clients connect to this 3CX Server: no default gateway for this NIC, just Local IP Address and add Routes to local subnets/VLAN & ping OK
+ 2nd NIC ("out-bound direction) with default gateway connected to Cisco Router acts as Voice SBC (with 2GE interface: 1 GE0/0 to 3CX Server & GE0/1 to Fiber Internet Router, and VIC2-4FXO module for PTSN CO lines calling in/out)

Firstly, these are the "supported" network configurations with 3CX, it does include dual NIC setup so read and understand how it is they want it configured for 3CX:
https://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/network-configurations-supported-3cx-phone-system/

The VLAN's should not be an issue, you can also add the VLAN tag and priority on the PBX for provisioning now also: https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/vlan-configuration/ I would ensure however that you use a fully supported/preferred phone (such as a snom or Yealink) if you want this sort of functionality: https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/

If you do raise this with 3CX support as suggested by @cobaltit I would be keen to hear their thoughts on using a professional SBC with 3CX for the following reasons.

As you may/may not be aware an SBC (or B2BUA) does not (unlike a proxy) simply relay messages (proxys can only alter SIP headers). SBC's actually divide and regenerate the communication channel into two call legs and mediates all SIP signalling between both ends of the call, from
establishment to termination.

I can see some potential issues that could possibly occur with using an SBC with 3CX in this manner.

Purely an FYI in the event it comes up on network configuration. 3CX does not support a "proxy" mode. So for example in the event of registering the licence to the licencing server it must be a direct internet connection and not go via a 3rd party IP. There has been suggestions of adding this as a feature previously however.
