  1. Missing Grandstream phones from Dropdown

I also have a Grandstream DECT. I copied the template from a server running V11 to the V12 template directory. I did a factory reset on the DECT and was able to provision from 3CX without a problem. My Grandsteam DECT is working fine so far.
  2. SIP Trunk Vitelity Busy Signal

I've seen this before with Vitelity, it has usually been a firewall issue. The packets don't get to the 3CX server before Vitelity determines the call was rejected. If you have the Vitelity number configured for failover you will see the call transferred to the failover connection instead of a...
  3. 3CX 11 and Cisco SPA 540G

I think the original post might be asking about the SLA / shared parking seamless key system like functionality for “sharing” phone lines without the need to transfer calls. BLF button would display the extension is in use, regardless of what line is in use.
  4. 3CX is default dialer

Had the same issue on a HTC Rezound running ICS 4.03.605.2 710RD (Latest version with global roaming radios) However I checked the box Integration > Redirect normal calls, then saved the profile. This will force cell calls to use 3CX as the dialer. Then I went back and unchecked the box and...
  5. How to integrate with legacy nortel pbx?

I agree with leejor, a complete replacement makes more sense. The older cat3 wiring should hold up using newer SIP phones, depending on the cabling layout you may be able to even connect inexpensive switches for other extensions nearby. Some might have PC's and you can connect off those with a...
  6. What're the differences between Skype & 3CX?

Apples and Oranges, but in brief; Skype is a VoIP provider, something like Vonage, you can make and receive Skype calls on 3CX. (Not my preference) 3CX is a SIP based PBX Server that runs on Windows, it replaces legacy PBX phone systems like Nortel, older Avaya, Lucent, Merlin, Toshiba...
  7. V11 & V11 RC1 versions?

Re: V11 Final Release License key changed for the 2 call live demo.
  8. V11 & V11 RC1 versions?

3CX Binary Log Viewer is now listed in "Other Updates", this is nice, the log viewer can now be updated separately not requiring a complete service pack update or having to wait for one. I thought I noticed a bit of improvement in overall performance but I'm not sure yet.
  9. V11 & V11 RC1 versions?

It's the final release version, doing the same now, loading it on a test machine. I'm assuming it's backup, uninstall, check for complete uninstall, install with restore from backup.
  10. V11 & V11 RC1 versions?

This latest download file is 11.0.26364.600 The V11 RC1 version was 11.0.26261.574 I have to assume this is the final release of V11.0 SP 1.0, since it went out with the press release. I wonder if there are any significant changes since RC1.
  11. V11 & V11 RC1 versions?

Does anyone know if the current V11 just announced on the main 3CX home page is a new version V11 or is it still RC1? I noticed the file sizes are slightly different, V11 RC1 is 82,723kb and this one is 82,757kb.
  12. Default holding music and copyright

The location of this incident, it appears to be a UK issue, meaning this particular situation with "PRS" is probably in the UK. "Performing Rights Society" is located in the UK with jurisdiction in the UK and Euro countries, unless there is another organization with the same name in another...
  13. Default holding music and copyright

Seems to be a UK issue. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PRS_for_Music
  14. Default holding music and copyright

What country is the user located in? Is this the paid or free version of 3CX? I would also suggest sending an email to the nearest 3CX office that would have coverage for your user's location for clarification. Sounds like (no pun intended) that it's some sort of a bureaucratic shake down...
  15. 3CX going into trial mode after reboot

Does the server have more than one NIC? This can happen when the 3CX PBX has two NIC's with 2 MAC addresses. Also, if upon server reboot there is no internet connection, the licensing algorithm can't verify the license key and revert back to demo mode.
  16. Polycom hatred, ouch

Polycom phones are known for their above average quality, I myself own an IP 6000. My previous statement was in general and referenced various companies. Each of which have their own particular issues, it would take pages of responses to discuss all of them, their pros and cons. But currently...
  17. 3CX softphone and windows 7 stability

I've had no issues with the 3CX softphone on Windows 7, 64 bit. However, if this is happening on all 15 workstations you could have a network issue. Wiring, the switch, server, server nic, etc. I would pick one workstation as the guinea pig, run wireshark on that machine and see what's going...
  18. connetct from WAN

You should also consider using the 3CX Tunnel for remote extensions. http://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/sip-proxy-manager/
  19. SIP Trunks

I would talk to Vitelity, it looks like they wholesale to others listed as tested SIP providers. I'm trying them out soon. I have used Broadvox, Voicepulse, Callcentric and XeloQ (international) Vitelity has a network access point in southern Florida.
  20. Only one-way operation between extensions

Did you auto provision the Cisco SPA504 or manually configure it? The softphone on the server? check for ip and port conflicts! Server at 92.168.1.7:5060 and softphone at 192.168.1.7:5060 Are you running the client tunnel proxy on the server? You can't run the server tunnel and the client...
