    Interesting - this is precisely the same problem we have with call pickup into a ring group and then transfer out. What we didn't know was that hold/resume would actually work around it - thanks Shay. PBX delivers audio didn't solve the problem though, sadly. Tim

    Hi Eric, If you edit the <macID of linksys>XML file generated on the server - remove the $MA and replace it with the phones' mac address, you should be ok. It seems the replacement of $MA with the phone's mac address just isn't happening..... Tim

    Matt, On our first 3cx installs we used 941/2 phones. The main problems we found were constant complaints about poor volume. On investigating how we could sort this the first drawback we found was the lack of any granularity in the settings - -6dB 0dB or +6dB Increasing the gain to 6dB did...

    Have to agree about the Snom - the 320 is our weapon of choice though we have got a bit of a weird issue at the moment. Ring group with 3 snoms in it and 1 snom outside the group. Dialling *20* to pick-up works ok but then the subsequent transfer....doesn't ! We're going to have a look at...

    Huw, Just to add a little bit - we're seeing exactly the same problem. Opening up 3cx and hitting re-register is solving the issue - however it's getting a little tedious to have to remote into a customer setup to do it. I'd be interested when/if you have to do this again so I can compare...
  20. Odd behaviour after power failure

    Jonathan, It's been quiet for a month with no recurrence until today - and the 3cx host PC also seemed to be in an unresponsive state too though this is sometimes hard to quantify as we're accessing it remotely by an ADSL line. We've now upgraded to version 6 so we'll see how that goes. Tim
