I had the same thing happen with my with my provider, they suggested the following which fixed it: Make sure that all RPID (Remote-party-ID) boxes are unchecked. In outbound parameters, change the FROM header USER part from userid to CallerNum. You might want to check those settings. It worked...

  5. Blind transfer fails

Ok, thanks. I'm not a network expert, so not sure what I would be looking for in wireshark... BTW, the fact that this is the free version wouldn't have any effect on transfers would it? Thanks.

Archie, Sequence to transfer calls from SPA phone: Answer incoming call press xfer button dial number press xfer button again before pickup That's blind transfer, right? If other person picks up, then call isn't dropped. Again, this didn't happen with any previous versions of 3CX (7 or 8)...

  17. Ports 9014 and 9015 (only) reported in use in firewall check

Hey all, I just got a new service provider (CableVision). We have static IP on the WAN side and I'm using a Dlink DIR-655 router. All ports that 3CX needs should be open. 3CX is running on a SBS2003 server. I can make and receive calls, however, when I run the firewall test, all ports pass...
  18. Inbound and outbound calls need to be made twice to hear

I don't want to put the 3CX machine in the DMZ because it's running on a SBS2003 server. I also have a Packet 8 phone and that's working without any problems. So I have all the ports open I need, I'm pretty sure everything is setup as it should be, but I'm still having this issue. At this...
