  1. Solved Incoming calls ring but get dropped on answer

Update. It turned out to be the SRTP setting in SIPTrunks > "Sip Tunk Name" > Options, was set to enforced which meant that their end should have had RTS enabled but it wasn't. I changed my end to disabled and everything is fine. Just thought I'd let you all know, it might help someone else...

Yes it does Yes I did I've done another test call from my mobile phone to my number which when answered produces the following: 21/04/2022 20:23:40:688 | [Flow] Looking for inbound target: called=<my-incoming-number>; caller="Neil" <sip:<my-mobile-number>@:0> 21/04/2022 20:23:40:688 |...
  3. Solved Incoming calls ring but get dropped on answer

Hello All, I'm totally confused. All my incoming calls get dropped immediately when answered even if left to go to voicemail. I have looked in the logs but to honest, I don't know what I'm looking for however I did just notice this entry that I haven't seen before or maybe I've missed them...
  4. Installation on Raspberry Pi

As I say, I'm no expert. The first time I'd seen a Pi in the flesh was this morning. Just trying to do my bit to help. - Neil
  5. Installation on Raspberry Pi

Hi All, If you are thinking of running 3CX on a Raspberry Pi you will find the instructions here. One of the first things that you need to do is download an image of "Raspbian Stretch Lite". The problem is that "Stretch" has been replaced by "Buster" and if you download the "Raspbian Buster...
  6. Solved Voicemails not being saved.

All sorted now, thanks for your help. I could leave a voicemail from another extension which took me to the Ring Group settings and found that it had somehow become disabled there. Taking your advice about not running it on a machine with other software on I've taken delivery of a Raspeberry...
  7. Solved Voicemails not being saved.

OK, now I'm officially an idiot !!!! The old saying "Start with the basics" applies to me. When testing this I've been asking someone else to ring the line and leave a message as I wanted to exclude any possibility of any conflict if I use my mobile which in turn will be trying to receive the...
  8. Solved Voicemails not being saved.

Hi John, Been away for a couple of days. Yes and have been the same ones since 2012 Yes Yes No Yes, as far as I'm aware
  9. Solved Voicemails not being saved.

Hi, Today, I had a planned rebuild of this machine that involved wiping the hard disk and re-installing everything from scratch. The last thing to be done was 3CX which was completed a short while ago and the problem is exactly the same. There were no voicemails recorded in any extension...
  10. Solved Voicemails not being saved.

No send to email enabled have watched /program files/3cx/instance1/data/ivr/voicemail/extensions and /programdata/3cx/instance1/data/ivr/voicemail/data/21 whilst leaving a message. 21 is the voicemail extension number and nothing shows up temporarily. I just tried to leave another message...
  11. Solved Voicemails not being saved.

I have today found out that although voicemails are being left we are being told by the system that we haven't any. I have checked that voicemail is enabled on my extensions and I believe that my forwarding rules are correct as everything is set to Forward to Voicemail. I tried a test call...
  12. Feature not available in the 3CX free edition.

Hi All, For some reason when someone tries to call us they are getting the message "Feature not available in the 3CX free edition. Contact the administrator" I haven't changed anything in the configuration recently. The only thing that has happened is that the PC that 3CX was running on died...
  13. Block anonymous calls

I don't know if this would work as we don't have these type of calls. Try reformatting the incoming call e.g. ( ) > 1234567890 There's a space in between the brackets. Then set up an incoming rule to trap 1234567890 and end the call or add 1234567890 to the blacklist. I don't know...
  14. How to remove "-" from incoming numbers.

I did think of that and it's the way I may have to go for now I just wasn't sure of how the rules would interact with each other if at all. I'd not taken much notice before but I had two calls this morning on my mobile phone over the phone network and not VOIP; one from someone I know and one...
  15. Missed calls recorded when answered

Thank you for the reply. I take your point, however, I can see that they are present in the call history on the Android and Windows clients. That is my point, they shouldn't be there at all as they have been answered. Although this the default behaviour; saying it is the default suggests that...
  16. Missed calls recorded when answered

3CXv12 Hi All, I looked at some old posts but can't find a definitive solution. We have a mixture of Yealink, Windows soft phones and Android soft phones and a ring group that is set to ring all. It doesn't matter which extension answers the call we still get a missed call on all other...
  17. How to remove "-" from incoming numbers.

They are not added at the gateway. It is a well know fact that BT add them and the spaces. This may not happen in other countries but is does happen in the UK. If you plug in an analogue phone into the line before the gateway the dashes and spaces will show up. The problem is, as far as I...
  18. Phone Number Lookup

Does anybody know when an incoming call comes in where does 3CXPhone for Android look for the phone number to match it to a contact. For example, does it first look in the company directory and then the phone contacts or just the company directory or just the phone contacts. - Neil
  19. How to remove "-" from incoming numbers.

This didn't work. The number was displayed exactly the same. I think it's because you can only use (.*) once and it must be at the end. If used before the end all variables added after it are ignored as per http://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/cid-formatting/ What did work was this (.....)-(.*) >...
  20. How to remove "-" from incoming numbers.

Hi Both, The provider is BT as we're in the UK. Here is the first few lines of an incoming call through the PSTN Gateway which is a Patton 4112 FXO - Neil 28-Jul-2014 18:08:29.743 IncomingCall: C:46 from <sip:08000-728270@'PSTN Gateway':5060> to <sip:10000@'3CX':5060> 28-Jul-2014...
