I recently had to change my router and in the process my public IP address changed. I have a dynamic IP and it is setup that way in 3CX. My IP is showing as Dynamic and in red on the dashboard. Is that normal or is there a problem?

Well...tried to flash a different version of Tomato into the router and bricked it. Swapped it out for a Linksys WRT120N. Setup all the port forwarding and the Firewall checker bombed big time. Had to put the server IP into the DMZ to get the tests to even pass. Now my 9000-9500 port fail...

I've only tried with the Tomato router so far.

I get even more failures if I setup the basic port forwarding. I get the most success with the machine in the DMZ.

If you have SIP trunks setup with your 3CX server, once the call path is built, is the RTP stream direct to the SIP provider over the internet connection where the 3CX user is at or does the RTP stream come from to the 3CX user from the 3CX server/site?
