  1. SUGGESTION Voice mail and permanent forwarding

But an extension is not call forwarding unless you use the permanent call forwarding option. I think you missed something in my post.
  2. Forwarding a Voxbone Number to 3cx

What you want will not be easy with 3cx here is why 1) voxbone originates DIDs from Multiple IP addresses 2) 3cx does not allow a DID provider multiple IP addresses. 3) Each voxbone IP will need to be set up as a provider 4) Although it is theoretically possible to allow anonymous SIP inbounds...
  3. 400 Bad Request(Multiple values in single-value header From)

SIP/2.0 400 Bad Request(Multiple values in single-value header From) Is what I am seeing from an invite that looks like this begin________________________________________________ INVITE sip:[email protected]:50XX;user=phone;transport=UDP SIP/2.0 Record-Route...
  4. SUGGESTION Voice mail and permanent forwarding

This is what I want to happen, but apparently it does not happen.
  5. 3CX ignores entries in HOSTS file

in my previous post I did quite clearly state "I was able to ping to the correct (hosts file resolved) IP from the PC running 3cx to the host entry" Perhaps reading is understanding
  6. DID in Direction only

Did you check the system messages to see what they say?
  7. High overall latency

We were previously using asterisk, and I can say that 3cx does generally suffer more latency. I have not used the conference feature, however after making all calls use re-invites it is clearly way better. I might also add that re-invites seem to work on 3cx where they have failed on Asterisk.
  8. DTMF tones

I posted this about 12 hours ago and now ity is GONE Here it is again id you ask inphonex what DTMF they support? There are three types 1) Inband , works only with g711u or G711a 2) out if Band RFC2833 otherwise known as AVT 3) out of Band Info You need to support the format that Inphonex...
  9. Unable to use DTMF?

Did you ask inphonex what DTMF they support? There are three types 1) Inband , works only with g711u or G711a 2) out if Band RFC2833 otherwise known as AVT 3) out of Band Info You need to support the format that Inphonex uses all the way through the chain as I do not know if 3cx translates...
  10. Working VOIP providers

We have tested and used the following however there are some strange issues with some as noted The test 3cx system was on an open public ip . we made changes to the Network setting in the INI to make all public IPs "local" and all STUN was disabled. We also were not using port 5060 as the SIP...
  11. Firewall and public IP

CHeck here http://docs.google.com/View?docid=dqnz5cc_44fqd5ffdb see the section Customisation of Internal/External device detection
  12. SUGGESTION Voice mail and permanent forwarding

I do not understand what you are speaking of. IN the extension or in the inbound rule? I am talking about voice mail, not an outside number. I want a permanent forward with 3cx voicemail My intention is this Pass DIDs through 3cx that the extension would serve as voice mail ONLY. Calls go to...
  13. One SIP account, multiple numbers routing to different ext

There are a few ways that a provider can send DIDs, so be aware 1) User registers to account [email protected] , all DIDs may uniquely identify themselves as TO $DIDNUMBER$@IP . This scenario is the least common however and Les.net is the only one that I am aware of that uses this. $DIDNUMBER$...
  14. SUGGESTION Voice mail and permanent forwarding

It looks like that if one chooses to forward their calls, voice mail options are no longer available. I think this is not right as if one forwards their phone to a destination that is not answered, the 3cx voice mail should pick up the call! Once forwarding is set all other voice mail options...
  15. NATed UA RTP Packets go to LAN IP

I posted a related thread of a working Cisco 7960 Config, http://www.3cx.com/forums/finally-cisco-7960-success-7398.html#p37443 At least in my case. I do not believe my configuration of 3cx is typical, but IS typical of other IP PBX systems we integrate. The difference is that our 3cx system is...
  16. Why 3cx PBX ver 6.0 put's 0.0.0.0 into contact header?

Is your 3CX behind a NAT ? Where is the registration coming from behind the same NAT? What other IP shows in those headers? a LAN IP or a Public IP?
  17. Restart utility needed

I tried both of these solutions since posted, and I get the same results. After restarting by the above methods , even a reset of the phone all I get is a reorder tone "SOMETIMES" , but at times it seems to work. I do not think either solution resets completely
  18. 3CX ignores entries in HOSTS file

HUH? I think setting up an additional server to support 3CX is a bit of a wacky solution. In a case like that it is easier to change to a different PBX. I'm sorry but your workaround is wacky! There is NO JUSTIFIABLE REASON that 3CX should ignore hosts file entries.
  19. Finally Cisco 7960 SUCCESS!

Here is the working config that I used to get my Cisco 7960 to register from behind a NAT to a 3CX system on a public IP Please note the trick seemed in my case to be in # NAT/Firewall Traversal nat_enable: "1" nat_address: "" voip_control_port: "5061" start_media_port: "16384"...
  20. 3CX ignores entries in HOSTS file

I recently made a Hosts file entry on a 3CX system that is on a public on a public IP. I was able to ping to the correct (hosts file resolved) IP from the PC running 3cx to the host entry After an ethereal capture, I see that 3cx ignores this host entry and attempts to register to the host...
