  3. Solved Connection to 3cx phone system web api could not be established

I notice that in the config file "3CXPhoneSystem" in C:\ProgramFiles\3CX Phone System\Bin uses loopback 127.0.0.1 addresses for the PBX IP. Can I change these to be the proper IP address for the PBX machine? (Long story short the NIC on this machine has been co-opted by a HyperV virtual...

Yes, clients are local to PBX on the same subnet. The machine I am testing is running Norton 360 but even with the Firewall and Smart Browsing disabled the problem still persists

  10. changing license key on version 15

Leaving the backups as is is the better option in my view unless you can recreate the Linux "Purge" option as a selection during the install?
  11. changing license key on version 15

Apologies for the CAPS earlier just a tad frustrated but calmer now. :) Program Data works for most circumstances but perhaps there should be a "backup for the purposes of upgrade" option on the backup page which takes the user to a location other than the normal Program Data directory (for...
  12. changing license key on version 15

CAUTION! CAUTION! CAUTION! DO NOT ACCEPT THE 3CX STANDARD LOCATION FOR THE BACKUP DURING YOUR UPGRADE PROCESS!!! Store your backup somewhere other than the 3cx suggested location. The process of removal deletes all files in the program data area INCLUDING the backup files. Would have been nice...

Nothing wrong with that. Its the outliers on the fat tails that make the world more interesting:)
  14. English Promptset

Thanks for this tip. It's not 100% clear that the prompts need to be flagged in two locations.
  15. Solved Unable to pass firewall check v15 with SonicWALL

Okay. Is your PBX machine behind a Routing and Remote Access Server. That was my problem as I was unable to get the RRAS to stop remapping.
  16. Solved Unable to pass firewall check v15 with SonicWALL

You might also like to consider letting the SW setup a reflexive NAT policy rather than setting up two separate ones manually
  17. Solved Unable to pass firewall check v15 with SonicWALL

Have you disabled port remapping using the checkbox on the Advanced tab of you NAT policy (I think it's on the outbound one)
