  1. Port selection for Outbound calls on Patton 4114 incorrect.

Thanks, William. I got it to work by having a different outbound prefix for each line so 9 goes to line one, 8 goes to line 2, etc. I will continue the testing to see if I can get all the functionality I have in the Panasonic system. Thanks again.
  2. Port selection for Outbound calls on Patton 4114 incorrect.

Well, that's my other post on a similar subject. The only problem is I have the Patton 4114 and he has the Grandstream so I don't have the choices he has. I just don't know enough about this to come up with any workarounds; I simply loaded 3CX and ran the template for the 4114 and it worked...
  3. Port selection for Outbound calls on Patton 4114 incorrect.

Disabling inbound and outbound calling on those lines did force it to use 10002 instead of 10001. However, I still cannot understand how to specifically direct the calls to a certain line. Are you saying that the four virtual ports are NOT tied to the physical ports in any way? Is there a way...
  4. Port selection for Outbound calls on Patton 4114 incorrect.

I have the Patton 4114 with extensions 10000 - 10003 as follows: 10000 = fxo 0/0 10001 = fxo 0/1 10002 = fxo 0/2 10003 = fxo 0/3 Ports fxo 0/1 and fxo 0/3 do not have anything plugged into them, but the port status screen shows my outbound calls on port 10001. Is the is configuration issue...
  5. Routing extensions to specific outbound ports

Thanks, W. It sounds like a great idea, but I cannot seem to figure out how to do it. I used the template for the Patton 4114 R5.2 and ended up with the 4114 as the PSTN gateway, but I don't get to pick which ports/lines I can direct calls to.
  6. Routing extensions to specific outbound ports

I have been reading through several posts, the manual, and other documentation to figure out a way to route specific extensions to specific outbound ports. Either it is not supported or I am missing something obvious. I have the latest 3CX Phone system (free version; still testing feasibility)...
  7. What is my log telling me?

What is the source of these log entries? 15:25:20.004 [CM102001]: Authentication failed for SipReq: REGISTER 127.0.0.1:5060 tid=4b0ed356c9312441 cseq=REGISTER contact=*[email protected]:40000 / 2 from(wire); Reason: Credentials don't match, check that authorization-ID and password match the ones...
  8. PSTN Gateway Recommendation

Re: PSTN Gateway Recommendation -SOLVED I started all over and viola, 5.2 works fine. Thanks for the help, folks. Now I can concentrate on testing and hopefully move to 3cx permanently. Thanks again. Rocket Man.
  9. PSTN Gateway Recommendation

Alright, so I have the Patton 4114, a couple of softphones that can call each other across the network very nicely, with the FREE version of 3cx loaded and running. However, I must be doing something wrong because i can't get the Patton 4114 ports to register with 3CX. I have one POTS line...
  10. PSTN Gateway Recommendation

Thanks. Just the kind of help I needed. I will get the Patton 4114 for starters. IP phones are next.
  11. PSTN Gateway Recommendation

Hello, I am wanting to replace an analog wireless phone system (Panasonic KX-TG4000B) with an IP LAN solution. I have 4 PSTN lines total that will eventually be needed to hookup to the system. While I want to take advantage of VoIP features, my PSTN lines are very cost effective and I don't...
