    Hi,
    i've set up the iphone app here at home (1.0.23) and have configured it for my office phone id and password. The idea being that when I am out of the office people can forward calls to my office extension and my iphone softphone will ring.

    I can receive incoming calls on the iphone but outgoing calls disconnect just before the first ring. THe server log shows this (ive changed any sensitive numbers);

    The only thing that stands out to me, and this may mean nothing, is that it's trying to connect to 0207123123@110.239.76.251, but thats the public IP, and the firewall wont allow access to the public IP from inside. However I dont have a normal call made from the office phones to compare this to.

    Any ideas what I've done wrong?

    so you are inside the lan in ur wifi? this log shows that the phone likes to connect to you from external (out of the office)
    there is a toogel in the settings where you have to say if your inside the office or outside the office...

    Hi,

    It happens if we autoprovision the soft phones (Windows and iPhone tried so far) internally as well. The number we are dialling exists and works from a physical handset.

    Here's the logs from trying to dial from an internal software phone.

    you did not answered my question.
    both issues are the same "No known route to target: <sip:123456789@10.1.39.6>
    but does this matches your outbound rules of the pbx I dont think so...

    Hi,

    I see. You mean were we pressing 9 in front of the number :)

    That does appear to solve the issue. Which then leads us on to another problem. If we dial a number from the contacts of the iphone or android then we aren't given the chance to dial 9 in front of it, and if we put 9 infront of the number in the contact record itself then the iphone wont dial it when using anything other than 3cx.

    Does that make sense?

    Is there a solution? Something like telling 3cx to put a 9 infront if the call if made from a soft phone?

    Olly
