    currently we have 2 trunks
    all international calls go out using a UK didlogic number
    all local calls stay with the local SIP

    outbound rules are easy at the moment, as all local calls are 8 digits, so all 8 digit number stay with local sip and everything else goes over our didlogic did.

    now we want to give one user his own dedicated number, which we have just purchased. - ALL his calls need to go throught this did.
    no one elses calls.

    On the outbound rules, create an new rule - make sure it is near the top

    Call from extension - enter extension number
    Route1 - enter the correct route.

    You can be more specific by entering Calls to number starting with prefix and Length of calls.

    You may also have to enter the DDI number, in Outbound Caller ID - Under 'Other' tab when you edit the extension

    Have you created an new gateway for this DDI, if so then you need to configure the correct route to the extension.
