Solved 15.1.41 Unclear connection status

    Hello,

    I have a question regarding the 3CX Android App. I added a screenshot for clarity:

    The status seems to be 'Disconnected', but I am able to call internally another number successfully (I haven't set up a trunk for external calls, yet...). It is also possible to call my number successfully.

    Can someone give me a hint what this status is about?

    My setup:

    3CX (15.5.5) in DMZ, Port 5060 (tcp and udp) towards 3CX is open from internal network.
    Samsung phone
    Android 6.0.1
    App version 15.1.41

    PS: Same behaviour with App on an iPhone

    Port 5001/443 Myphone port is likely unreachable due to it being closed. Give it a check.

    I am having this same issue but only on our internal network. Are you able to explain this a little more? What do you mean by it being closed?

    ZacSC,

    On the firewall which connects the internal network with the DMZ, I needed to open port 5001 from internal network (where the phone is located) towards the DMZ (where the 3CX is located).

    If your 3CX and the phone are already in the same network: Is there maybe a firewall on the machine where the 3CX is running which blocks port 5001?

    Thanks for replying Thomas. I am actually not sure what was wrong, after upgrading to v15 seemed like my Android phone did not work to get presence and showed disconnected but everything else worked fine.

    I finally just rebooted everything and not its working.

    Run the Firewall checker on the PBX and check if something else is blocked.
