Hello,

Running the latest version of 3CX on location A.
We're trying to connect two hardware VOIP devices; Linksys/Cisco SPA942 and a Siemens c470ip at location B.

The SPA942 has been configurated as http://www.3cx.com/blog/voip-howto/remote-extensions/ and works fine.

The Siemens is also configurated, but doesn't work correctly; It rings, but there is no audio when answered and 3CX log shows really strange port numbers.

Any idea?

Cheers! Eric

NAT translation is dorking up the SIP. Your success for multiple remote devices at a single location is highly dependent on the firewall./router you use. You could run the 3CX Proxy Manager and register the devices to it.

I have seen that happen, and yes, it can all come down to the router you use. Some "remember" the audio port longer and think that the particular port is still supposed to go to the last IP (device) that was using it. How much longer 'til IPV6???
